All Mari Award winners are selected through a rigorous research-led process conducted entirely by our independent editorial team. No operator can purchase a nomination, pay for improved consideration, or influence the selection process through commercial arrangements. This independence is fundamental to the credibility of the awards and is non-negotiable.
The selection process begins with a longlist drawn from our database of reviewed casinos and operators. The longlist is based on quantitative performance data including review scores, complaint resolution rates, player satisfaction ratings, and regulatory compliance records. A shortlist is then developed through qualitative assessment by our senior reviewers, with final winners decided by a panel discussion and majority vote. Our methodology is documented and available for public review upon request.
